I am delighted to announce Dr. Adam Petway, Director of Strength & Conditioning at the University of Louisville - Men’s Basketball as a speaker for the 4th ESCCA Summit.

The topic of his presentation will be:

"In-Situ evaluation for Sport Performance: Using the competitions as assessment".

Dr. Petway's talk focus will be:

✅ The mechanical and physiological demands of elite basketball training and competitions.
✅ Understanding the technical and tactical biomechanics associated with the games top performers.
✅ Mechanisms involved with ACL tears and Achilles Tendon Ruptures in the NBA.
✅ The concept of subsequent new injury in basketball and how minor/moderate injuries can alter mechanics and the potential risk for major injury.
